Terrazzo is made up of natural stone materials and
powders and like any natural material you need to be
careful how you maintain it.
General daily cleaning:
Use a dust free cloth to wipe away any surface dust. Once
the surface is free of dust please use a damp cloth to wipe
evenly across the surface. No need to go over board as
the terrazzo has a protecting layer built in to the surface.
Once done then wipe again with a dry cloth to take excess
water away.
Spills:
This is where we need some caution, the natural stones
don’t like acidic sauces sitting on the surface for longer
than 10 minutes. Things like ketchup, red wine, white wine,
mustard and the likes. Please ensure you wipe the excess
away with a dry cloth and then follow the general cleaning
process above.
